2nd and 3rd season Bull Elk licenses are sold over-the counter in Colorado. , All other deer licenses, private land only either- sex elk licenses ,  and all  cow elk licenses are available only by drawing a license  in the Colorado Limited License Drawing.  All 1st season and 4th season elk licenses are limited licenses.  Leftover "LIST B" licenses
may be available.  Hunters are responsible for the cost of all applicable licenses, processing, and taxidermy charges.

The price for a combined deer and elk hunt will not be reduced in the event that a deer license is not drawn.  We do have a limited number of priority landowner vouchers  available for hunters that did not draw a limited deer license.  Most limited mule deer and either-sex elk licenses will not require any preference points to draw a license,  with the exception of  late December cow elk hunts and the 4th  season antlered mule deer.
